What is this?
It is a simple idea I had: sign up to receive notes, and note someone on the list below with a nice thing.

Doesn't matter how long the note is, doesn't matter what the contents are. It's just gotta be nice. "I love your work" would do. A small essay about an artist you like would also be fantastic, but ultimately the goal is just a compliment.
There's no real deadline to this yet. It kind of defeats the point, really.

Any rules?
1. Multiple nice things per person is acceptable. Try not to play favorites. A good way to go about it would be that for every two notes you send to a friend, you send one to a stranger.

You don't have to reply directly to a person's nice thing, but it would be nice. Just go with who you want to note!

2. Try to send at least one note before December 26. I don't require evidence or anything but it'd be polite.

3. General rule of thumb is to include "nice thing" in the note title to distinguish it as part of the project and not just a random compliment. For example, "Here's my nice thing," "I wrote a nice thing about you," or "Your mom's a nice thing".

4. Pimp this in your journal if you can! The more the merrier!
